FORT MYERS, Fla. It's Wednesday and that means it's time to fire up the WINK kitchen.
Here today showing us how to make a true southern favorite is Ed and Tony from Anthony's on the Boulevard.
Recipe:
1/2 lb cleaned shrimp
2 green tomatoes
chopped salad greens
2 cups bread crumbs
2 cups flour
2 cups eggs wash
1 cup romoulame sauce
1/2 cup mayo
2 Tbs ketcup
1 Tbs lemon sauce
2 tsp hot sauce
2 Tbs chopped pickles
Heat 1/2 in oil in large pan
cut tomatoes 1/2 in slices bread tomatoes and shrimp
fry tomotoes until golden brown-- do not over cook
remove tomotoes and place on paper towel
put tomoatoes and shrimp on top of lettuce then place sauce on top-- then eat and enjoy
