Local students participate in International Science Fair

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Earlier this month, six students representing the Thomas Alva Edison Kiwanis Science and Engineering Fair competed as Finalists in the 63rd International Science and Engineering Fair in Pittsburgh, PA.
They joined 1,500 other Finalists from 68 countries and 47 states for this year's event. The research students from Southwest Florida conducted was truly exciting.
Meet Mariah Coughlin, whose project was "Characterization, Detection, and Toxicity of the Oil Dispersant Corexit 9500."
