FORT MYERS, Fla.- It's Wednesday and that means it's time to fire up the WINK kitchen. Here today showing us how to make that everyone will love is Chef Vinny from the Neapolitan Gourmet in Naples.
SAUSAGE, PEPPERS AND ONIONS (feeds 4 people)
1 -1/2 – 2 lbs of Neapolitan Gourmet’s Fresh Sausage
3 Peppers, preferably 1 green, 1 red, 1 yellow
2 cloves garlic
2 large Spanish or Vidalia Onions
2 TBS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
S & P to taste
In 2 separate fry pans, heat oil on medium flame.
Put sausage in one pan and peppers and onions in other.
Cook sausage for 25 minutes turning once.
Cook peppers and onions until the onions are caramelized and peppers tender.
Combine on a platter and Enjoy!
