FORT MYERS, Fla.- Get ready for a rush of car commercials during the Super Bowl.
Eleven minutes of advertising time for the big game is being bought up by the automotive industry. The reason, Colleen Quenzel of Quenzel and Associates in Fort Myers told us on Friday morning, is that 15 percent of Super Bowl viewers plan to buy a car in the next 12 months.
In our yearly preview of Super Bowl commerical trends, Quenzel also noted the big push again toward releasing ads early and using social media as part of the campaign. Quenzel and Associates Super Bowl Survey also ranks who people are watching the game with what they are eating and drinking, and why advertisers match the findings.
After Sunday's Super Bowl log on to www.quenzel.com to take their survey of the games best commercials, we'll reveal the results and go over what ads worked and what ones did not Monday at 7:00 a.m. on WINK News Now This Morning on TV Six.
