FORT MYERS, Fla.- Helicopters from all facets of law enforcement and public safety will roar into Lee County for what is sure to be a colorful and action-packed event.The American Heroes Air Show, the nation's premier helicopter-only air show, makes a return visit to the Lee County Sports Complex on Saturday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. 

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is assisting in the set up and coordination of the event.  The American Heroes Air Show will highlight aviation's role in law enforcement, public safety, search and rescue and national defense.

 Visitors will get a close-up look at advanced military and civilian helicopters and have a chance to meet the pilots who fly them.  The air show will feature flyovers, helicopter displays and interactive exhibits with hands-on activities for adults and children alike.

 Also on display will be the American Veterans' Travelling Tribute complete with a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall. 

 Admission to the event, as well as parking, is free.
