New approval numbers out for Gov. Scott

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -  A new poll released Tuesday by Quinnipiac University shows 38 percent of voters  gave the first-term Republican, Governor Rick Scott  a positive job approval compared to 50 percent who rated Scott's job performance negatively.  
The 38 percent approval rating though was the best The Governorn  has received since taking office a year ago and better than the Legislature, which was seen positively by a third of respondents compared to 49 percent negative.
 
Governor Scott  is slated to deliver his second State of the State address Tuesday as Florida lawmakers begin the 2012 session.
