PUNTA GORDA, Fla.- The State Fire Marshall is now investigating three overnight structure fires in Punta Gorda.

The first one happened just after 1:30 a.m. on Cross Gate Avenue. The single-story house was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. They were able put the flames out in about 40 minutes. The house was empty at the time of the fire.

Then firefighters responded to a shed fire at 29241 Tamayo Drive just after 4 a.m.

Soon after, firefighters noticed a glow at  29215 Snook Circle. This location was a mobile home that had burned down months earlier and happened to flare up again.

All three fires are out and no one was injured. The State Fire Marshal is investigating all three.
