FORT MYERS, Fla.- Chef Patrick from Fleming's Steakhouse in Naples shows us how to make BBQ Shrimp.
Ingredients: Shrimp (5 large), 1/8 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. black pepper, BBQ, butter 3 oz., 1 1/2 oz. Chardonnay, Crouton 2" long angle cut, pan coating as needed and chopped parsley 1 tsp.
Place a pan on medium high heat. Once hot add the shrimp into the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook 1 1/2- 2 minutes on each side. Turn the heat to low, add the wine and cook for 20 seconds. Add the BBQ, butter and continue to cook the shrimp while melting the butter in the pan. Do not let butter break, sauce needs to be creamy. Cut a baguette. Place on a metal plate and spray with pan coating. Bake in a 375 degree single convetion oven for 4-5 minutes until lightly golden but still soft. Place cooked shrimp around the crouton with the tails facing up then pour the sauce over the crouton and shrimp. Garnish with chopped parsley.
