FORT MYERS, Fla- The Salvation Army of Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties is hosting a back to school fashion show at it's Fort Myers store on Wednesday. The fashion show is to help boost both sales and donations. Savvy shoppers can find everyting from jeans and tops to school uniforms for a great price.
There has been a dramatic drop in donations and shoppers in Lee County Family Stores compared to a year ago. The money raised in the stores is used to fund The Salvation Army's Crossroads Program, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in Fort Myers. With revenue down, the Salvation Army is getting worried.
The Salvation Army back to school fashion show is at noon, Wednesday July 20th. The event will be held at The Salvation Army's South Store located at 15418 S. Tamiami Trail in Fort Myers. Models will include the three children of WINK-TV News Anchor Rob Spicker. Rob's daughter Rylie was recently crowned the new 2011 Junior Teen United States-World. The event will be hosted by WINK-TV News Anchor Lois Thome.
