  The WINK kitchen is all fired up this morning, and Chef Vinny from Neopolitan Gourmet is here to show us how to make pasta e fagioli   or better known as pasta and beans.

 

The receipe:

PASTA E FAGIOLI ( Pasta and Beans)

Ingredients

1 lb. Pasta

1 can Cannellini Beans

1 can tomatoes

4 cloves garlic

¼ c EVOO

S & P to taste

Grated Cheese

Put up pot of water in 8 quart pot

Saute garlic in EVOO until golden on med-low heat in 2 qt saucepan

Add tomatoes and beans with liquid and cook for 10-15 minutes on med-low heat, covered.

Add salt and pepper

When water is boiling, add pasta to pot. Cook as directed on package.

Strain Pasta and add bean mixture, Stir

You may reserve some water and add as desired if you like it more soupy.

Sprinkle with cheese

Serves 2-4 people
