A new app called the "Facebook Breakup Notifier" promises to help make you be the "first to know" when somebody you're interested in is out of a relationship.

The creator says he made it as a joke, but it's turned out to be quite popular. More than 100,000 people downloaded it in the first 24 hours. He's now thinking about charging for the service.
