 It's  Wednesday and here on 6TV  it means only one thing.
 lets eat!
 And here today in just time for the holidays---is Greg Stamper from Lee Roy Selmon's showing us how to make holiday candied pecans.


Holiday Candied pecans

½ cup water
¾ cup sugar
½ Tbl cinnamon
1 lb pecan pieces

Yield 1 ½ pounds

1. spread pecans out for at least 30 min to reach
room temperature
2. mix sugar, water and cinnamon in a large sautee
pan over medium heat to dissolve the sugar
3. bring mixture to a boil and immediately add room
temp pecans
4. reduce heat to low. With rubber spatula toss pecans
around to coat thoughly
5. Spread out evenly on parchment paper lined sheet
6. place in over at 325 for 6 minutes
7. Stir and continue cooking for three more minutes
8. Remove from over and let cool
