FORT MYERS, Fla- The last quarter of 2010 is going to set up the market for the tourist season early next year.. Real estate contributer Denny Grimes joined us Friday to explain why he believes the 4th quarter is the pre-season.
For sellers, sales will be slow. It's a common trait for this time of year. Grimes says sellers should make sure they're homes are priced right and ready to show.
For buyers, many believe banks are going to release much of the inventory they've been keeping off the market in four states, including Florida. Grimes believes it could open up some great opportunities.
And for homeowners struggling to keep their house, some banks now prefer to short sell than foreclose so talk to your bank about the available options.
