WASHINGTON (AP)- Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is warning of some steep cuts ahead at the Pentagon. He says the cuts will be needed in personal, health care and weapons systems, to help reshape the military for leaner budgets and new challenges. Speaking at the National Defense University in Virginia, Hagel said the military's strategy to modernize still depends on systems that are "vastly more expensive" than promised.
