JERUSALEM (AP) - President Barack Obama has arrived in Israel, his first trip to the nation as president.
 
Israelis are anxious to hear Obama affirm America's commitment to the security of the Jewish state, despite his sparring with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the Palestinian peace process.
 
Obama is also making trips to the Palestinian Authority and Jordan.
