TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - A South Tampa socialite at the center of a scandal involving top military brass will no longer sport special license plates on her car.
    
The Tampa Tribune (http://bit.ly/U51nqx) reported on Thursday that Florida's Department of Motor Vehicles said the U.S. Department of State told the agency that Jill Kelley no longer qualifies for an honorary consul license plate.
    
Kelley had been an "honorary consul" to South Korea. The title was revoked this week when Korean officials said Kelley used her position inappropriately during personal business dealings.
    
The 37-year-old Kelley became the focus of national media attention earlier this month after it was revealed she received anonymous emails from Paula Broadwell, Gen. David Petraeus' biographer and mistress. Broadwell allegedly told her to stay away from Petraeus.
