WASHINGTON (AP) - After an eight-week trial, jury deliberations are expected to begin later today in Washington in the perjury trial of former baseball pitcher Roger Clemens. Prosecutors and defense attorneys will first deliver closing arguments. The judge may decide before deliberations begin that one of the 13 alleged lies told by Clemens to Congress isn't relevant and shouldn't be part of the case against him. Clemens is accused of lying to Congress when he denied using steroids or human growth hormone.
