TAYLOR, Mich. (AP) - Books have taken a backseat to bedbugs at a suburban Detroit library.

The Detroit News and television stations WXYZ and WDIV report that the Taylor Public Library closed Monday because of a bedbug infestation.

About 200 of the tiny, pesky flat-backed critters were found in one room. They were discovered by a patron.

Library officials hope to reopen Tuesday.
