DETROIT (AP) - Delta Air Lines says federal officials have arrested a man who became disruptive on a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit.
Airline spokeswoman Susan Elliott says in a Tuesday statement that the man "was quickly restrained" and was taken into custody by officials waiting when the flight landed at Detroit Metropolitan Airport shortly before 4 p.m.
Elliott says Flight 235 continued on to Detroit without further issue after the man was restrained. Her statement didn't describe how the man was disruptive, how he was restrained or who restrained him on the plane.
Messages seeking further details and comment were left Tuesday afternoon for airport officials.
