TAYLOR, Mich. (AP) - Police in suburban Detroit say a 90-year-old man with dementia is missing after two men who tried to sign him out of a nursing home later were seen on surveillance footage lifting him over a wall of the facility's grounds.

Taylor police say the men tried to sign out Floyd Edward Pickrell for dinner from Regency Health Care in Taylor on Monday night. Police say the staff denied the request. Pickrell was reported missing the next day after staff discovered he wasn't at the center.

Police say Friday that one of the men, a 50-year-old from Detroit , was in custody, but he is refusing to cooperate or tell investigators where to find Pickrell.

Anyone with information on Pickrell was asked to call the Taylor Police Department at 734-287-6611.
