CAPE MAY, N.J. - A Burlington County woman is taking to the seas on a stand-up paddleboard, aiming to cover New Jersey's 127-mile coastline to raise money for childhood cancer research.

Margo Pellegrino of Medford Lakes set out Monday morning from Cape May on a slow journey up the coast. She hopes to arrive in Sandy Hook Tuesday afternoon.

Pellegrino is an avid paddler, and has made much longer trips before, including a trip from Miami to Maine. She's doing this to help a friend whose child is suffering from neuroblastoma.

She had made it to Wildwood after a few hours and was traveling at 4 mph.
