WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama says he is not worried about a double-dip recession in the United States.

However, Obama says he is concerned that the economy is not growing jobs fast enough. He says his administration is studying whether the latest weak job reports are part of a larger pattern or a one-time drop.

Economic reports out last week showed the unemployment rate increased to 9.1. percent. The economy also added far fewer jobs than experts had predicted.

Obama spoke at a joint news conference with visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
