DALLAS (AP) - Airline executives are mostly optimistic that higher fares will continue to boost airline revenue, but JetBlue Airways warns that ticket sales for the holiday season could be weaker than expected.
On Wednesday JetBlue Airways Corp. lowered its outlook for fourth-quarter revenue.
JetBlue shares dropped more than 6 percent in afternoon trading. Other airline stocks fell too, although by smaller percentages.
Executives at Delta and American say they're not seeing the kind of weakness that JetBlue reports.
