PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A Philadelphia tow truck driver is accused of running over another driver, killing him, in a dispute over a woman and towing territory.
Police say 25-year-old Glen McDaniel ran over 30-year-old Ray Santiago early Sunday in the parking lot of a bar in the Kensington neighborhood.
Authorities say the men were arguing when McDaniel got into his truck and ran over Santiago, then backed up and hit him again before driving off. He was arrested a few blocks away.
McDaniel is charged with murder, homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence and related charges. It's not clear if he has an attorney.
Disputes among Philadelphia wreck-chasers have turned violent before. In July, another driver was charged with attempted murder in the shooting of a rival at a crash scene.
