ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - A male spectator fell from the second
deck onto the field level seats at Rangers Ballpark during Tuesday
night's game between Cleveland and Texas. The fan was leaning to
catch a foul ball when he lost his balance. Paramedics attended to
the fan, who was strapped to a stretcher and taken by ambulance to
a hospital.
A Rangers spokesman said the man was able to move all his
extremities and was responsive to paramedics.
The game was held up for 16 minutes and players were obviously
shaken by the incident.
