MIAMI (AP) - The Miami Heat followed their proven formula. Go on the road, fall behind in a series, face a whole lot of trouble - and find a way out.
Their reward is home-court advantage in the NBA Finals.
The 100-96 win over Oklahoma City in Game 2 extended Miami's trend of season-saving escapes. The Heat won Game 4 in Indiana to knot their second-round series, prevailing in six games. They won Game 6 at Boston in the East finals to stave off elimination, then won at home in Game 7.
Miami dropped Game 1 to the Thunder and almost had Game 2 slip away. Instead, the series is tied, and the Heat are three wins from a title - with the next three games in Miami.
