NAPLES, Fla. - At 11 years old, Dalton Nichols owns almost every speed stacking record for the state of Florida.
The 6th grade Oakridge Middle School student says he's practiced 2-3 hours per day after being introduced to the sport 3 years ago.
"In the 3-6-3 I got 2.28 (seconds), a new Florida record and 3rd place in the whole tournament..." said Nichols. "Pretty good, it feels really great to be faster than anyone in the state."
Dalton recently took place in the 2012 AAU Junior Olympic Games Sport Stacking Championships.
"Its really quite amazing, I never really get used to it. I watch it over and over again and he's just so quick," said Dalton's mother, Pam.
Dalton says he plans on continue competing and showcase his talents in an upcoming middle school talent show.
