A day before he makes a national television appearance in Major League Baseball's All-Star game, former FGCU pitcher, Chris Sale got to take part in David Letterman's nightly "Top Ten" with fellow All-Stars.

Sale will not be starting the All-Star game for the American League squad, but is expected to pitch at some point.  He finished the first half of the season with a 10-2 record and stands among the league leaders in several statistical categories.

The former FGCU star makes history tonight as the first former Eagle to participate as an All-Star at the highest level.

During his appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, the host made a request of the White Sox pitcher.

You can see Sale and the complete Top Ten on the Late Show's video website.
