LEE COUNTY, Fla. - The Fort Myers Miracle are opening the 20th anniversary season with fanfare and more than a couple throwbacks to the first Miracle season of 1992. The team will be wearing authentic throwback uniforms of the 1992 Miracle, complete with teal hats and gold socks.
The Miracle will wear these special anniversary uniforms for every Friday and Saturday home game this season. Fans will have the opportunity all season-long to bid on the jerseys with part of the proceeds going directly to the Dave Clark Foundation.
The home opener against rival Charlotte Stone Crabs starts at 7:05, but the team has special opening day ceremonies starting around 6:40 so be sure to get there early. You'll also want to stick around for the whole game
The Miracle have teamed up with Wendy's to make tickets available for free! Just stop by any of the 20 Wendy's locations in Lee, Collier and Hendry Counties and you can pick up a free general admission ticket to the home opener. If you want, you can also upgrade to a box seat for only $2.00 at the main Hammond Stadium ticket office.
