LCSO searches for suspect who robbed Ft. Myers Shell station

FORT MYERS. Fla.- On Sunday at approximately 9:55 a.m., the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Shell station at 11225 S. Cleveland Ave. to a report of an armed robbery.

The subject entered the station wearing a green bandana and a green jacket. The person then announced that he had a gun, but did not display one when he demanded money from the cash register. The subject then exited the store on foot and ran towards the south.

No one was injured in this robbery.

The subject is described as being possibly Hispanic with a thin build, approximately 5’ 9” tall. According to surveillance, the subject wore a dark grey cap and white gloves.
