FORT MYERS, Fla.   It's  never too early to start talking spring training baseball, especially when we have a new stadium to open in Southwest Florida.  Spring training schedules have now been released.
The Red Sox open their new stadium, Jetblue Park, with their traditional doubleheader against a pair of college teams on March 3rd.
The Twins open against the Rays that day, and then the Red Sox-Twins game will be the following day at the new ballpark.
The Twins will split their squad that day and the other part of the team will play the Rays.
The Sox also welcome the Yankees to Jetblue Park  March 22nd.
Long before the games tickets go on sale.
The Red Sox are first, and one thing is not changing, tickets will go on sale at City of Palms Park at 10:00, December 17th.
The Twins single game tickets go on sale when the box office opens january 14th.
And the Rays have yet to set a date,  but they'll go on sale in January.
Practices are always free, and they start February 18th,  when the twins pitchers and catchers are the first to report.
The Red Sox start a day later and the Rays a day after that.
