On Monday, FGCU Pitcher Chris Sale was drafted in the first round by the Chicago White Sox.

On Tuesday, Sale received another major honor. 

Sale was chosen as a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award.  Five finalists are chosen for the award, which honors the top amateur baseball player in the country.
