MGN Online FORT MYERS, Fla – One person is dead after being hit by a car in Lee County, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. According to investigators, 28-year-old Miguel Lux Ixcotoyac attempted to run across Palm Beach Boulevard near Shoreland Drive. A 2012 Toyota Corolla, driven by Norma Sibello of Labelle, was traveling east bound on Palm Beach Blvd. in the center travel lane. Ixcotoyac ran into the path of the Toyota and was struck. He was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with severe and life threatening injuries. He later died, deputies said. Alcohol and speed were not contributing factors and Ixcotoyac is being found at fault for the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
