MGN Online LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Lee County authorities are asking for the public’s help in gathering new information in the murder of a Lee County woman whose body was dumped alongside I-75 in early August. The body of Penny Seevers was found in the southbound lanes of I-75, just south of Colonial Boulevard. Her death has been determined to be a homicide, however to this point, detectives have received very little information in determining who took her life. Seevers’ family lives out of state, and frequently reaches out to detectives for answers, in hopes of closure. Anyone with information is asked to called Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
