MGN Online LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Fort Myers Police arrested a man for allegedly trying to sell drugs near a school. Detectives arrested 25-year-old Edward Grant after a one month investigation including surveillance and undercover drug purchases. Authorities executed a search warrant at an apartment located on the 5300 block of Summerlin Road. In the apartment, officials found 4 grams of marijuana packaged for street distribution, a .40 semi-automatic handgun, drug paraphernalia and $171 believed to be proceeds from drug sales. Grant is now facing multiple charges including possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1000 feet of a school and violation of probation.
