Registration for Naples Salvation Army Christmas Cheer opens

NAPLES, Fla.- The Salvation Army operates a holiday toy and food distribution program. We provide food and toys to families in need. Families must complete an application and come to the Salvation Army for registration to receive assistance through The Salvation Army’s Christmas Cheer Program.

You can fill out an application online here and then bring it to one of the registration days to speed up the process. You’ll need a valid photo ID, proof of income, proof of child’s date of birth, child’s shoe and clothing size.

November 3-6, 2014 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
November 7, 2014 from 9:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.

Volunteers are needed as well.

Volunteers sort and package toys for each child adopted at our Angel Trees and prepare the toys and Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes for Holiday distribution to Immokalee and Naples-area families in need. This position requires a lot of mobility and some lifting, but in exchange you get to feel like you work at the North Pole!

In 2014, help is usually needed Monday through Friday beginning on Monday, November 3rd and ending Saturday, December 20th at our Toy Shop in Courthouse Shadows located at 3360 Tamiami Trail East. Call 239-210-4009 for more information.
