LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Lee County School Board member Jeanne Dozier is a director for the Florida School Boards Association, and is in Vero Beach for the quarterly meeting today.

She says she plans to address the 'opt-out' issue, and what has transpired in Lee County over the past few weeks.

While Dozier has voted against opting out, she says the energy brought forward in these meetings can be used for change. She hopes to encourage school board members from other districts today to stand with Lee County in challenging these tests, as well as common core.

School board member Cathleen Morgan is also attending the meeting.
