LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Thousands of Floridians are in jeopardy of losing their health insurance.

The federal government says they must prove their immigration status by tomorrow or they'll lose their coverage under the Affordable Care Act at the end of the month.

Part of the problem goes back to the Healthcare.gov website that saw all of those problems with enrollment.

Some of the enrollment specialists didn't input immigration information in an effort to just finish the application.

A few weeks ago, the government sent out 300,000 letters to people and as of two days ago 239,000 people were still receiving final notices.

Florida holds the majority with an estimated 94,000 people with questionable policies.
