LEHIGH ACRES, Fla . Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for your help identifying at least one man who allegedly broke into a Lehigh Acres home while the the homeowners were out of town on vacation.

According to detectives, a home on 7th Street W. in Lehigh was vacant for a short time, however a family member was keeping an eye on things while the homeowners were away. 

Upon checking the residence on August 3rd, a woman found her sister’s front door open and back door unlocked.  Both had been secured the last time she checked on the home.  At some point prior to August 3rd, one or more suspects pried the front door open and had free access to the home. 

Fortunately, home surveillance cameras captured images of at least one suspect trying to dismantle the cameras.  In doing so, a clear image of the suspect’s face was captured in black and white.

Taken from the home were numerous electronics, including a 51 inch flat screen television, three additional flat screen TVs, a security camera monitor and a Playstation 4, carrying a total value of more than $5,000.  The suspect also damaged a locked bedroom door to gain access to some of the stolen items.
