CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Brand new details in the crash that killed a Cape Coral teen last Friday have been revealed in the police report.

15-year-old Austin Dukette was riding his bike when he was hit by a Lee County deputy and tossed from his bike.

In the report investigators say Corporal Douglas Hood was not distracted and his vision was not obscured.

Detectives do say he was going approximately 50 in a 45 mile per hour zone.

The report also says Dukette did have lighting for safety but does not explain exactly what kind of lighting was on the bike.
