LEE COUNTY, Fla.- One of the Lee County School Board members who voted to opt out of state standardized testing now wants to rescind her vote.

School board member Mary Fischer has asked for a new meeting with the specific purpose of rescinding the school board's decision to opt out of state-mandated testing.

Fischer originally voted in favor of the opt out.

The meeting to discuss a motion to opt back in is happening Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
