FORT MYERS -- The FGCU Women's Soccer team took home a win during its first game of the year against Pac-12 Arizona.
Tabby Tindell gave the Eagles their first goal with a low shot into the net in the 19th minute. The Wildcats would make it a tie game early in the second half, but Tindell gave the Eagles another goal in the 72nd minute for 2-1 lead.
The Eagles' win wasn't without controversy. In the last few seconds, Arizona fired a shot which crossed the goal line, however, the would-be equalizer didn't beat the buzzer.
