(Afghanistan) - An Army sergeant from Ruskin Florida has died while serving in Afghanistan. The army says sergeant first class Matthew Leggett was killed in action this week. The 39-year-old died from injuries received when he was fighting the Taliban. Sergeant Leggett had been based at fort bragg since 2012. He served three combat tours and received a Bronze Star Medal and a Purple Heart.
