LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies are searching for the suspect accused in an armed robbery to a 7-11, just after 4:00 a.m.

Witnesses said a man entered the store, located at at 4225 Lee Boulevard, brandishing a large revolver, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

During the robbery, a clerk was struck in the head with the revolver.

The suspect’s face was partially covered with a camouflage mask.

Upon leaving the store, the suspect fled to the south.
