BONITA SPRINGS, Fla.- Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is searching for the suspect who tried to steal lottery tickets from a Bonita Springs convenience store last night, but ended up leaving empty-handed.

According to detectives, a black male walked into the Circle K, located at 10460 Bonita Beach Road, just after 9:30 p.m. on Monday. He allegedly walked to the office at the back of the store and locked the door behind him. Once inside, he attempted to pry open a locked desk in order to steal a batch of lottery tickets. After unsuccessfully securing the scratch-offs, he then left the store empty-handed.
