FORT MYERS, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies are searching for the man who robbed a Fort Myers Walgreens late last night.
Deputies responded to the Walgreens, located at 17065 Pine Ridge Road, shortly after 10:30 p.m. They spoke with two store employees, who said they were attempting to close the business for the night. When they approached the front door to lock it, the male suspect stormed through the door and demanded money. The victims complied and the suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was observed and no injuries were reported.
Surveillance photos show the suspect wearing blue jeans, a gray hoodie and concealing his face with a bandana. He is about 5 foot 9 inches tall with a slender build. The victims say he spoke with a Jamaican accent.
