FORT MYERS, Fla. - The stadium that Lee County spent $80 million on, now has mold. Pictures from a WINK News viewer show mold on the seats at JetBlue Park.

A lot of fans, particularly Red Sox fans, can't wait to watch their team play at the park, but some fans were turned off by the mold that has set up camp on some of the seats. WINK News talked with representatives with the park today who say they're aware of the mold problem.

The Parks and Recreation Director, Dave Harner, said they have tried to clean the seats you saw in those pictures, but can't. He also said they're already working with Manhattan and the manufacturer to replace the seats.

The seats are still under warranty, so any replacements will come free of charge. The Fort Myers Miracle are set to play at the park Saturday night for fan appreciation night. While officials aren't able to say how many seats are covered in mold, they did say it will not affect any fans looking to watch the Miracle play tomorrow at 6:00.
