NAPLES, Fla.- A family has been displaced after a fire destroyed their home on the 3300 block of Poinsettia Avenue, off Airport-Pulling Rd., this afternoon.

No one was injured.

It's unclear how the fire started, but witnesses said they heard popping sounds.

Fire officials say a family of three were inside the home when the fire started.  The flames were so violent, crews had to spray the home next door and a nearby Circle-K.

WINK News spoke with a worker there who called 911.

"You only see stuff like this on t.v.," said Shantey Vazquez.  "It was high, high.  I thought it was going to come over here.  I thought it was going to close the store down."

WINK News is told the family will stay with a friend, at least for tonight.

The State Fire Marshal is on scene investigating what caused the fire.
