PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives are looking for the occupants of a car who got gas at the Circle K, located at 4395 Tamiami Trail, with a credit card stolen during a residential burglary, just after the burglary occurred.

In mid-July, the victim who lives at a residence located in the 21000 block of Glendale Avenue reported that he had left his house in the afternoon of July 12. When he returned, he found that his 50-inch flat screen television and his wallet were missing. His wallet contained his personal identification as well as credit cards.

At about 9:30 p.m. that same date, one of his credit cards was used to buy gas at the Circle K. The vehicle, which appeared to be occupied by two people, was a dark color with a spoiler on the trunk.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or its occupants are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (941) 639-2101 (ask for District Detectives), or Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
