NAPLES, Fla. – St. Matthew's House and Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc. have partnered up to team canines with disabled veterans, living with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), while providing job skills to men in the Justin’s Place Recovery Program.

Certified trainers from Guardian Angels have already begun their "medical service dog training program" to teach clients of Justin’s Place how to train the assistance dogs in Southwest Florida to meet the highest standards for their new recipients.

Guardian Angels breeds and rescues the dogs. and then donates the dogs to recipients, both locally and nationwide. The cost of raising and training one of these dogs from start to finish is about $20,000 to $25,000.
